Welcome To The Future
Politics makes strange bedfellows so the saying goes. The more I see policy positions being discussed in the court of public opinion, the more I become concerned. When discussing issues like healthcare, energy, America's relationships with other countries, etc. the dialogue should be focused on confronting the isssues and fixing the problems. Instead, we often have two partisan positions that are trying to destroy the other group. I admired John McCain's recent handling of his town hall meeting. He was not my favorite candidate for President understand. But he was honest with his constituents the other day as he addressed Arizonans. He admitted Washington's failures with the budget and is seeking health care solutions that will fix any current problems we have without destroying the good that already exists. We need more leadership like this. It will address the concerns people have without scaring them away from others who espouse views on the other side. Fear mongering is NOT a legitimate way to run government.

Back to the blog
Hello friends - I am happy to report that my summer off from blogging was not in vain. On October 13th, I have a book coming out entitled If By Whiskey. A fictional comedy, I had a great time writing it. I hope you all enjoy it. On September 15th my website www.ifbywhiskeynovel.com will go live.
